Do you want to work with a holistic perspective and quality in rehabilitation to make a real difference in people's daily lives? As an occupational therapist in the reception team, you are responsible for promoting activity, participation, and independence for people with various disabilities within municipal care and services. The work involves assessing, planning, and implementing interventions that may include training, environmental adaptation and assistive devices, as well as providing support and guidance to both individuals and their relatives. You collaborate closely with other professionals in care and services to create comprehensive solutions. Your main duties include: • Assessment and planning - Conduct activity and functional assessments and develop individual rehabilitation plans. • Interventions and adaptations - Plan and implement rehabilitation interventions, test and adapt assistive devices, and provide instructions for use. • Collaboration and communication - Work with internal teams and external partners to create a cohesive rehabilitation process. • Support and guidance - Provide advice and support to care staff, family members, and other caregivers to promote activity and participation. • Documentation and quality assurance - Ensure correct documentation and follow-up according to laws and guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist and who want to work with people based on an ethical and professional approach. About the Role The unit currently employs 12 licensed occupational therapists and 12 licensed physical therapists. When you start with us, you will receive a mentor who will support you to ensure you have a smooth and good start in your work. As a licensed occupational therapist at the Rehabilitation Unit, you will work with two care and residential facilities in close collaboration with physical therapists and other professionals. The work includes standard occupational therapy tasks within municipal elderly care, such as assistive device prescription, rehabilitation measures in the facility, functional assessments and guidance, and support for nursing staff. You are an important part of the team and contribute your expertise to create a person-centered approach where the individual's needs and resources are in focus. As a person, you are responsible, attentive, and have good empathetic abilities. You have good computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. We keep records in Lifecare and also work in other IT systems such as Mina Planer and WebSesam. You will receive introduction and training in the systems used. A Class B driver's license is required for the position. Before employment, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be provided.
