Learn more at www.agrenska.se Who will you work with? I'm a 13-year-old active, mischievous boy who lives with my mom, dad, and older brother in Kungälv. I love speed and excitement and am looking for a creative assistant with a playful spirit who wants to go on adventures with me. I love fast-paced games and am looking for someone who will help me drive remote-controlled cars, jump on a trampoline, ride roller coasters at Liseberg, play with trains, swim in the sea and at swimming pools, and run in a frame runner or various races in a special running wheelchair. I also enjoy calm and relaxing experiences like visiting Eldorado and the sensory rooms there. I enjoy spending time with my friends; we go wheelchair dancing together, among other things. I hope that as my assistant, you will help me take initiative in activities that my friends and I can do together and help me stay in contact with them. I have cerebral palsy, severe intellectual disability, bilateral cochlear implants, and epilepsy. I have a button in my stomach through which I'm fed when I don't have the energy to eat by mouth. I have no verbal language but am very expressive and communicate through eye contact and body language. It is therefore important that you are attentive and can read my needs and what I want. I also practice communicating through picture support in a PODD book and an eye-tracking computer. I need help with everything in my daily life, such as getting dressed and undressed, meals and medication, diaper changes, washing, and becoming more independent in play. Scope of Position The position is 50%, but there is an opportunity to work more if you wish! Working hours vary; typically you will work weekday afternoons 14.30-20.30 and every other weekend Saturday, Sunday 10-18. We hope you start the position in mid/late August. At the beginning of your employment, you will be offered an introduction/shadowing period. Who are you?
