Treatment Worker for Resource Team at HVB
Are you the person who steps forward when things get difficult and quickly makes people feel safe? Then maybe we're looking for you! A job for someone who wants to make a real difference At Samskapa, we meet young people of various ages with complex social challenges, often in combination with things like ADHD, relationship difficulties, anxiety, or experiences of trauma. These can be young people who struggle to trust adults, regulate strong emotions, or find functioning ways to handle what is difficult. Things can get chaotic here, emotions can take up a lot of space, and behaviors can be challenging. That's why we're looking for someone who doesn't back down when things get tough, but stays put and continues to be an adult you can trust. About the position You'll become part of a specialized team that's deployed where it makes the biggest difference. This could mean reinforcing a team, supporting a young person who needs extra presence, or contributing your expertise when a situation requires a bit more. No two days are the same. You might need to create structure in daily life, accompany someone on activities, motivate, have supportive conversations, or handle situations where emotions run high. You meet young people with complex challenges and need to be able to stand firm even when things get stormy. The work is independent and you'll have great trust and responsibility, but you'll never be alone. You have colleagues to discuss things with, present leadership, regular supervision, and access to specialist expertise. At the same time, you'll have the opportunity to get to know several of Samskapa's operations and build broad experience in treatment work. The work also involves collaboration with social services, schools, guardians, and other important people around the young person. Documentation is a natural part of the assignment. You'd rather ask "What's happening here?" than "Why are you behaving like that?". You know that trust doesn't come on demand and that it sometimes takes patience, humor, and many attempts to get through. You like making a real difference, take responsibility, and dare to work independently. At the same time, you're unpretentious enough to ask, listen, and get help when needed.
