As my personal assistant, you will be a practical and reliable support in my daily life. Work tasks include assistance with transfers to and from my wheelchair, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, cleaning, cooking, and other everyday chores. I am also active in associations, which means you will sometimes accompany and support me during activities outside the home. We would like you to: · express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, as I am active in associations and participate in various settings. · have basic computer skills. · have a driver's license and access to a car, as I live in the countryside with limited public transportation. · have good physical strength and balance, as the work involves assistance with transfers (no lift available). · be positive, humorous, and have a good sense of humor. · be organized and enjoy structure in daily life. · have a genuine interest in assisting others. · be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations. Working hours are scheduled for day, night, and weekend shifts as follows: · Day shift: 08.00–18.00 · Night shift: 18.00–09.00, including approximately 6 hours on-call The position consists of varying work shifts according to schedule. Personal assistance is provided during all hours of the day where the client is present. It is meritorious if you have experience with personal assistance. The position is located in Finja. Our client is a 30-year-old woman with autism, intellectual disability, epilepsy, and ADHD. She communicates only through pictures. In her home, we work with low-affective interactions and careful structure to help her have a meaningful and functional daily life. The work consists of supporting her throughout the day through various activities, routines, and housekeeping. Our client is interested in swimming, playing iPad, cooking, baking, and going on outings or just a drive in the car. She is active and has a high pace, which is why it's important that you as an assistant are flexible and adaptable—able to make decisions and quickly adjust the day's schedule as needed. We are seeking two assistants for two positions at approximately 82 percent. One of the positions is a parental leave replacement. We are also seeking a substitute who can work as needed. The work follows a rotating schedule with day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. We have double staffing. The schedule includes both awake nights and nights on-call. A driver's license and access to your own car are required to get to the workplace, which is just outside Hässleholm. During work shifts, we use the client's own car.
