About You On behalf of our client in Klippan, we are looking for a mature personal assistant who is attentive to our client's needs and wishes. We are now seeking staff for temporary assignments during illness/leave. At the client's home, you will primarily work day or night shifts (with sleeping on-call duty); 24-hour shifts may also occur. For us, it is important that you get along well with the client you will be working with and that you are responsive to the client's needs and wishes. You should be empathetic and respect the client's integrity. You have a good sense of humor and are willing to make independent decisions. You are responsible and work well in collaboration, as well as calm with great patience. You have the ability to step back when needed. You should be solution-oriented and enjoy challenges at work. Good work ethic is a must, as well as fluent Swedish in speech and writing. You should be in good physical condition as some lifting occurs; of course, assistive devices such as lifts are available. The client is a young woman in her 20s with an intellectual disability and cerebral palsy. She lives an active life and is very interested in music and doing fun activities such as swimming, shopping, and attending concerts. The client's disability means she needs constant supervision and motivation in daily activities. The work team uses a low-affect approach in interactions. The client does not communicate verbally but through body language and partly visual support. You can work days, evenings, and weekends. Personal assistance is provided during all hours of the day where the client is present. It is meritorious if you have experience with personal assistance. You will become part of a fantastic team that works together with and for the client. Your Responsibilities Tasks typical for this profession. It can range from individualized care to household chores. Assistance is provided primarily in the client's home but also includes accompanying the client on activities outside the home. You work in a supportive and motivating manner. You will receive training on-site and through Monument Assistans.
