About the Position As an electronics engineer at BAE Systems Bofors, you will work in a technology-intensive development environment where you are involved in the entire chain – from concept and requirements to design, testing, and verified product. The role is product-oriented and technically broad, encompassing everything from analog and digital electronics to embedded systems work. Your Responsibilities Your work will include: Developing and further developing electronics at module and circuit board level Conducting technical analyses and concept studies Working with analog and digital design Contributing to embedded systems development when projects require it Integrating, testing, and verifying electronics in subsystems and complete products Troubleshooting and optimizing designs in a lab environment Collaborating with mechanics, software, systems, and production teams Documenting and quality-assuring design work Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this role, you need a solid technical foundation and experience working with electronics in product-oriented and technically demanding environments. You have a university or master's degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent competence. Through several years of electronics development experience, you have built confidence both theoretically and practically. We are seeking someone with: Experience from technology-intensive environments with high requirements for quality and reliability Several years of experience in electronics development Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written It is advantageous if you have experience with embedded systems and some understanding of robust design in demanding environments. Knowledge of EMC, radio/RF, or antenna technology is a plus, as is experience with VHDL or other hardware description languages. If you have also worked in safety-critical or high-tech industries, that will further strengthen your profile.
