Your Role With Us We are looking for someone who wants to work as a Control Room Engineer at a peak and reserve power plant in beautiful Blekinge. You will work in a small technology-intensive team where relationships with colleagues are important for operations to function smoothly. Tasks are varied and adapted to the situation. The main responsibilities as Control Room Engineer at Karlshamnsverket include monitoring and supervision of boiler, turbine, and underground facilities as well as external installations. The work includes both recurring routine tasks and problem-solving with rapid pace changes. We work in 3-shift operations. The facility is complex, which places high demands on your ambition and willingness to understand how everything connects. Uniper is part of Sweden's critical infrastructure and our operations are subject to regulations regarding security protection, export control, and nuclear non-proliferation. We will therefore conduct security vetting of all our positions and supplement with background checks for security-classified positions, in accordance with the Security Protection Act. Uniper is part of critical infrastructure in Sweden, so this position may be subject to civil mobilization. A possible health examination including drug testing may also be relevant before employment. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is thoughtful and engaged in creating team spirit.
