The Social Services Department in Haninge Municipality is responsible for individual and family care as well as support and services for people with disabilities. Our staff unit is the department's hub for strategic and process-oriented support. Here we coordinate and develop work for the Social Committee, department management, and the core processes of our operational areas. You'll become part of a strong team of specialists in law, economics, change management, and quality. We're now seeking someone who wants to combine the roles of Chief Nurse Officer (CNO) and Quality Developer. With us, you'll get a meaningful mandate to strengthen quality, patient safety, and development for Haninge's residents. Your assignment As CNO and Quality Developer, you'll have a strategic and influential role. You'll ensure that municipal health and care services maintain the highest quality and comply with all statutory requirements, while driving the department's overall development work. You'll work closely with department management and operational managers, serving as expert support on patient safety and quality matters. In your role as CNO, you'll have overall responsibility for ensuring that laws and national guidelines are followed. You'll develop central procedures for, for example, medication management, delegation, documentation, and deviation management. You'll also handle authority contacts with IVO, the Patient Board, and the National Board of Health and Welfare, investigate serious deviations, and serve as expert support to management within municipal primary care, crisis preparedness, and collaboration with the region. As Quality Developer, you'll lead development projects and internal audits where you analyze quality and goal fulfillment. You'll prepare decision-making documents, reports, and statements to management and committees, and contribute expertise in procurements and requirement setting. Through active environmental monitoring and analysis, you'll drive improvement work forward in close collaboration with operational units. This is what we're looking for in you To take on this role, you must be a licensed nurse with a relevant academic degree. You have several years of experience within municipal health and care services, combined with documented experience in quality, development, and investigation work. The position requires you to have a very good understanding of health and care legislation, patient safety legislation, social services regulations, and systematic quality work. You also have a very good ability to compile complex data into clear reports and express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It's advantageous if you have previous experience as a CNO or equivalent strategic role. We also see it as a plus if you have experience with internal control, monitoring, and procurement within the welfare sector, work within the disability field or social psychiatry, or further education in quality, leadership, or patient safety. We also see it as advantageous if you have experience collecting, compiling, and analyzing statistics and operational data from different sources and translating results into reports and decision-making documents. As a person, you're analytical, structured, and have a natural ability to see the bigger picture. You're confident in your professional role and have the courage to make well-founded assessments even in complex situations. Since the role involves many contact points, you're pedagogical and skilled at building trusting relationships. You have a consultative working style, which means you're equally strong in reviewing and setting requirements as in supporting and motivating operations forward. Description of the Operations Haninge Municipality operates five care and elderly facilities in-house: Hagagården, Vallagården, Ros-Anders gård, Malmgården, and Terrassen. The facilities have varying focus areas with both somatic, dementia, and short-term care, encompassing a total of 245 care beds. Work within the department is characterized by modern working methods, high competence, and the use of the latest welfare technology. We work with the individual in focus - the elderly should feel at home with us and experience that their individual needs are met in an environment characterized by community, security, and warmth. All facilities maintain close collaboration and a common platform with overarching routines and working methods. Your Assignment We are now seeking a nurse for the fall for a temporary position at one of our facilities as a responsible care nurse. We offer you stimulating daytime work with employment Monday through Friday. You will receive excellent conditions for your assignment through structured introduction in our facilities together with our experienced nurses. As a nurse, you will lead the daily care work in collaboration with our multiprofessional team consisting of care staff, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, doctors, and other relevant professions and actors. You maintain close collaboration with the responsible medical organization and monitor the residents' health status together with doctors and implement prescribed measures. You plan, lead, and follow up on work carried out within your area of competence. You mentor and train employees to maintain relevant knowledge within your profession. You are well-versed in the operations and follow up and investigate deviations within your area of competence. You lead structured work with risk assessments and follow them up. Your Competence You are a licensed nurse who is confident in your professional role and have experience from elderly care You enjoy working in a team You have very good communication skills, both verbally and in writing You have very good social skills both in meetings with care recipients and in collaboration with colleagues You are engaged, flexible, and see opportunities ahead of obstacles You have digital competence and an interest in implementing new solutions We place great emphasis on personal suitability Driver's license category B is meritorious As a person, you have a commitment to working with the elderly and you understand the importance of good collaboration with colleagues. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships with residents, next of kin, and employees. You are responsible and self-driven and can adapt your working methods to the situation.
