Extra Staff for Food Production (limited-time employment as needed) Nybergs Deli is a family business with the vision "Good food for everyone." For us, that means we offer a carefully selected range of quality food that everyone can afford. It should be delicious and simple, and suitable for both everyday meals and special occasions. We have our factory in Jordbro south of Stockholm, we have approximately 80 employees divided between office and production, and we manufacture primarily processed pork products. Now we are looking for extra staff who can work as needed during our production peaks! About the Role We are looking for someone who is studying or has another occupation and wants an extra job on the side. The main thing is that you are flexible and can come in and work in our production when we have a need for it. The needs can vary and are driven by production volume. We may contact you on short notice and sometimes with longer advance notice. You will work on one of our production lines where your tasks will mostly consist of preparing and packaging our products. You will participate in daily operations and will work with mixing machines, filling machines, and/or labeling and date marking machines. In production, we handle both open and closed products, so you need to be comfortable with both. Work Hours Work hours are scheduled during daytime: Monday–Thursday 06:30–15:45 and Friday 06:30–14:15. We therefore work somewhat longer Monday to Thursday to leave earlier on Fridays. Afternoon and evening work may occur, for example during production peaks where there is sometimes an opportunity for or need of overtime. How to Get Here To reach the workplace, it can be helpful to have a driver's license and a car, but you can also get there by public transportation. We offer free parking right outside our building. Qualifications and Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who works carefully and systematically. You pick up new instructions easily, are initiative-taking and have determination, while at the same time being humble in your interactions with your colleagues. You work well with others, both colleagues, supervisors, and managers. The work requires good physical fitness as heavy lifting and repetitive work tasks occur. To ensure our quality and work environment efforts, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. This is because our procedures and instructions are provided in Swedish. You also need to have basic computer and IT skills. It is a merit if you have previously worked in the food industry and have a forklift license, but it is not a requirement. Employment and Application This position is a limited-time employment, with hourly compensation where you work as needed; you will therefore not have any fixed hours or days with us.
