About the Role of Support Assistant As a support assistant, you will work providing individualized support to people with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support individuals in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their individual action plan as your starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, based on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for individuals to achieve as much independence as possible and live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work using clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal approaches to create security and predictability in the residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the service's resources and budget. The service's well-developed methods place high demands on you as an employee to follow routines, your ability to work digitally, and your ability to express yourself clearly in writing.
