Latgales Industriālais tehnikums invites applications for medical assistant / nurse (temporary position covering employee absence) Regular working hours (40 h/week), 8:30-17:00 (other working hours may be negotiated*) *Working schedule is negotiable Requirements: Level 1 professional higher education or Master's degree in health sciences in healthcare At least 5 years of experience in healthcare, as well as professional development in accordance with regulatory requirements Ability to perform appropriate examinations of patients from different age groups, assess health status, diagnose health disorders, evaluate examination results obtained during patient assessment, and document them Ability to identify child care needs, organize necessary specialist consultations Ability to assess, ensure and develop a safe working environment. Job Responsibilities: Prepare requisitions for consumables and instruments, stock first aid kits; Determine students' anthropometric and vital signs; Plan students' preventive health check-ups and immunization work; Assess students' physical fitness for sports activities; Participate in extracurricular sports events; Inspect: compliance of the institution's building and territory, institution premises and their equipment, computer rooms, water supply and sewerage, dormitory arrangements, food service areas (including coordinating prepared menus in Daugavpils and Dagda), facility cleanliness, heating and ventilation – plan sanitary and hygienic work, disinfection, pest control, rodent control; Mandatory medical and preventive health check-ups for staff Application Submission: - Candidates should send CV, motivation letter electronically to: [email protected] indicating the position title, or send by mail or submit in person at Jātnieku iela 87, Daugavpils, LV-5410. - We will contact candidates who, after evaluation of submitted documents, are selected for the second round of personnel selection.
