Your Assignment In the role of IT Security Analyst, you will be part of a unit that develops and delivers access and exploitation capabilities, and conducts collection operations. The team around you consists of skilled hackers from different backgrounds and with diverse experiences. Together, you will tackle complex problems, targets, and assignments. The results of your efforts will deliver direct operational value for our clients. The main tasks of the role include: Collection of stored signals (network collection) Testing and developing access methods (exploits) Building and developing custom tools Delivering material as a basis for outgoing reporting Working in close dialogue with our analysts Competence development and methodology development You Can Qualifications: Several years of professional experience in IT security, for example as a penetration tester, developer, or system administrator Academic degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way Deep and broad knowledge of IT security Communicates in speech and writing in Swedish and English We consider it a prerequisite that you have a solid and genuine interest in IT security going back many years. Your Assignment As an IT Security Technician, you will be part of FRA's security office. The security office's task is to ensure FRA's security protection for the agency's various operations based on their specific conditions. In your role as IT Security Technician, you will ensure FRA's own security protection for the agency's various operations based on their specific conditions. We are seeking several people, and you will work either with on-premises solutions or cloud services. You will, among other things: Handle log analysis within the Security Operations Center (SOC) Process incident cases Conduct various types of investigations in the IT security field Handle inquiries and participate as an expert in internal IT security work You will be part of a team where you work both independently and together with colleagues who have similar tasks in the security office. Beyond collaboration within the security office, the position involves many contact points both internally within the agency and externally, primarily with other government agencies.
