Your Assignment As an operator specialized in communications intelligence, you will belong to the signals intelligence department. The department's task is to conduct signals intelligence according to the Act on Signals Intelligence in Defense Intelligence Operations. In this role, you will be the first link in an exciting production chain. During flight operations, you will identify communications signals and make the initial assessment of material that will later be presented as reports to our clients. With us, you will be part of a team that works closely together during flight operations. On board, each of you has your own role where every person is important for solving your common task. The work on board is challenging and sometimes intense. Time in the air alternates with independent analytical work in the office. With us, you will grow into your role. As you develop, you will take on more complex tasks and, over time, expand your expertise within your work area. The position requires you to conduct annual fitness tests according to the Swedish Armed Forces' basic requirements, and training is therefore part of your work. Travel, both domestic and international, is included in the position. The position begins with 7 months of training and practice at another location. After that, you'll become part of a team that works closely together during flight missions. As you develop, you'll take on more complex tasks and, over time, broaden your expertise within your field.
