We are now looking for a Systems Integrator / Systems Deployment Specialist for an exciting assignment within the defense industry. Here you will work with security-critical IT systems and follow solutions from installation and deployment to troubleshooting, testing, and verification. The systems are specialized and we do not expect you to have worked with them before. Therefore, we are looking for someone with a broad technical foundation, genuine interest in technology, and the ability to understand new technical environments. About the role As a Systems Integrator / Systems Deployment Specialist, you will have a varied and practical role where you work closely with both the technology and the finished solution. An important part of the work is getting different technical components to work together. When something is not working, you need to be able to troubleshoot methodically and understand where the problem may lie, for example in the operating system, network, application, or configuration. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who enjoys working practically with technology and who likes to find out why something is not working. You have experience with Windows and/or Linux/RHEL and are familiar with working with operating systems in technical environments. You do not need to be a specialist in a specific operating system. What is important is that you have a solid technical foundation, understand how different parts of an IT environment work together, and have the ability to understand new technology and solve problems that arise. We would like to see that you have experience in some of the following areas: installation, configuration, and deployment troubleshooting of systems and technical environments Windows and/or Linux/RHEL networking and communication systems integration testing and verification IT security/hardening You need to be able to communicate fluently in Swedish and English and have a B-class driver's license. A university degree is not required. Relevant work experience, technical vocational education, education from, for example, the Swedish Armed Forces, or equivalent technical background can be equally relevant. Security-critical systems in defense You will work with systems within the defense sector where high demands are placed on IT security, availability, and functionality. Security configuration and hardening are therefore a natural part of the work. Previous experience in IT security, information security, or security-critical environments is a merit. The same applies to experience from, for example, defense, critical infrastructure, telecommunications, energy, transport, or other technically complex operations. Placement and travel The position is based in Rosersberg and there is also an office on Vasagatan in Stockholm. The role also involves work in various customer environments throughout Sweden, which means that the workplace can vary depending on current projects and customer needs. Business travel is therefore a natural part of the role. Some on-call duty may occur. Why this role? WORK DUTIES As a Systems Administrator with us, you'll be the link between operations and our business-critical systems aCurve, API Pro, and Victoria 2. Your role is critical to ensuring that systems are available, user-friendly, and support operational goals. You'll work closely with our Systems Specialist to capture needs, prioritize improvements, and ensure stable operations. This is a permanent position starting with a six-month probation period, based at the head office in Ulvsunda, Bromma. Your main areas of responsibility: • Plan systems administration: Develop an annual service plan. Coordinate upgrades, testing, and releases based on operational needs. • Support users: Provide support with permissions, troubleshooting, and password resets. Communicate about outages and actions taken. • Manage access rights: Ensure correct access according to GDPR and company security policies. • Work with information security: Conduct risk assessments, information classifications according to KLASSA, and other security analyses. • Develop systems: Gather and prioritize operational requirements. Investigate and document needs for changes and new features. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for a structured and service-oriented systems administrator who is passionate about ensuring stable operations and creating user value in our business-critical systems. You have a clear focus on operations, understand how technology can support operational goals, and can handle multiple parallel tasks by prioritizing effectively. Since the role involves many contact points, you are pedagogical and attentive, and you enjoy helping others, collaborating, and building good relationships with colleagues, users, and vendors. To succeed in this role, you have: • At least three years of experience in systems administration, preferably with production-critical or business systems. • Higher education in IT, systems science, or equivalent, or other education and experience that we consider equivalent. • Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management. • Basic understanding of databases, integrations, and security. • Experience with user support and training, and creating clear guides and training materials. • Excellent command of Swedish, both spoken and written. • Ability to translate technical solutions into operational value and build relationships with both operations and IT colleagues. Meritorious: • Knowledge of GDPR and information security. • Experience with vendor management and requirements specification. • Experience with PM3 and ITIL certification. • Experience with the systems aCurve, API Pro, or Victoria 2.
