As a security guard, you help create safety in Borlänge by working preventatively, being visible, and providing professional service. As a mobile security guard, your main task is to deliver safety to our customers - primarily at industries, offices, and workshops - by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. Usually you handle alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often feels free, but with great responsibility. As a stationary security guard, your main task is to deliver safety to one of our customers by being attentive and ensuring everything is in order. Often you work at the entrance to a larger company, controlling those who pass in and out, but you can also conduct patrols and camera surveillance. Work tasks vary from customer to customer. You don't need to be a trained security guard beforehand. The basic training covers 9 working days and is conducted at various locations in Sweden before employment begins. This requirement is based on the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2, chapter 8 and appendix 2, which restrict minors' ability to perform work tasks in security and surveillance-related operations. Security guard training is meritorious for these positions.
