About the Workplace Västerängsskolan is a preschool-grade 9 school located centrally in Bålsta. Your Responsibilities Teach Swedish to grades 7-9 Plan and deliver quality instruction in accordance with Lgr 22 Work from an inclusive perspective with understanding of the importance of teaching in diverse ways Document, monitor, and analyze students' academic development Assign grades and ensure fair, equitable assessment Actively work with an accessible learning environment in all aspects Build positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues Engage in collaborative learning and demonstrate familiarity with professional practices Qualifications We are seeking a certified elementary/middle school teacher in Swedish. You have strong commitment and confidence in your professional role. You are a clear leader, have the ability to create a warm teaching climate, and can inspire students in their learning. You are genuinely interested in creating, maintaining, and nurturing positive relationships with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians alike. It is a given for you to always have the student's best interests in mind. You have strong collaboration skills, excellent communication abilities, good IT skills, and are well-versed in pedagogical documentation. About the School Gransäterskolan is a school serving grades F–9 in Bålsta, centrally located with excellent public transportation access. The school is surrounded by nature and has approximately 500 students. We are now seeking a teacher of wood and metal crafts for a temporary position with the possibility of extension. About the Position You will be responsible for teaching wood and metal crafts, and will plan, implement, and assess instruction based on the curriculum. You will work hands-on with students and guide them in their creative work and problem-solving. You are responsible for maintaining a safe crafts environment and instructing students in the safe use of tools, machines, and materials.
