About the Role
As a systems integrator specializing in radio, you will integrate, configure, and verify network and communication solutions in technically advanced projects. You will be involved from early design and documentation through testing, installation, and deployment. The role involves collaboration with experienced engineers while you are expected to take personal responsibility for your tasks and deliverables. The role offers excellent development opportunities and is a natural step toward a future position as a systems engineer.
Examples of Work Tasks:
Develop system sketches and technical documentation
Installation, configuration, and deployment of radio and communication systems
Define interfaces between different systems and products
Create test specifications and conduct verification and testing
Configuration and adaptation of systems in Windows and Linux environments
Document results in test reports
Automate configurations via scripts
Communicate with both internal customers and end customers
Participate in testing and installations at various locations, which involves regular travel
Required Qualifications
Relevant post-secondary education in electronics or radio, for example civil engineering, engineering degree, or vocational university education. Equivalent competence acquired through substantial work experience in the field is also relevant.
At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar role, for example as a radio engineer or systems engineer
Very good knowledge of both Swedish and English
Class B driver's license and ability to travel for work
The position is classified as a security-sensitive role. Prior to employment, you must undergo a security clearance and be approved according to applicable security regulations. This may require certain citizenship.
Meritorious Qualifications
Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
Work experience in development and management of script-based solutions. Good knowledge of one or more programming/script languages
Documented experience in leadership, preferably with a focus on technical leadership
