The work is stimulating and has great breadth as you will meet patients in different life situations, from acute situations to patients further along in their disease. Advanced treatments such as pain management via epidural are part of the ward's work. Infection treatments, management of central lines, pain pump management, and various types of drainage are examples of tasks that occur in daily work. As support for all staff members, both new and senior, we have a clinical care manager (KLINO) who is an experienced nurse and works to strengthen care and support colleagues in their work. Breast, endocrine tumors, and sarcoma are part of Theme Cancer. We investigate, operate on, and treat breast cancer, benign tumors, and thyroid cancer, neuroendocrine tumors in the abdomen (NET), as well as soft tissue tumors. Much of the daily work involves pre- and postoperative care within highly specialized cancer surgery as well as care for patients with congenital endocrinological diseases. We are proud to be the sole provider in Stockholm County healthcare when it comes to endocrine surgery and soft tissue sarcoma. This is a permanent full-time position. With us, you work two shifts according to a 24/7 agreement, and the schedule is arranged according to a preference schedule with four periods set throughout the year. If interested, there is an opportunity to work three shifts.
