About Us
Telia Field Operations is Telia's own contracting business and our primary task is to ensure that Telia's national security customers are continuously operational and can expand, even in crisis and emergency times. We also work with masts, fiber construction, switchovers, network security work, field analyses, network investigations, migration work, etc. Our assignments also include service, delivery and troubleshooting of fixed and mobile networks.
With us you become part of a local team with our skilled employees. We operate nationally in Örebro, Trollhättan, Gothenburg, Sundsvall, Stockholm, Kalmar, Gotland, Luleå and Scania. We currently have around 50 employees, of which about 40 are technicians. We are now looking for new staff in Stockholm where we currently have 4 employees.
Description
As a technician you have varied tasks and work with everything from splicing fiber, working on masts, to customer-specific installations at companies and government agencies where active equipment and IP networks are a major part of the assignment.
The role includes, among other things:
Maintenance work, deliveries and troubleshooting in fiber, mobile and IP networks as well as active equipment. Installation and service of the security-classified network with special equipment. Independently and together troubleshoot, measure and resolve outages, leakage and contact faults in the network.
You will depart with a service vehicle from home and go directly or via our work center to the service assignments you have been assigned, assignments for which you are independently responsible for checking and reporting. The work involves free and mobile working days with plenty of travel. Since you typically can leave from home, work-life balance becomes easier. On-call time is applied in the position, and night work may also occur.
Who Are You?

As a technician, you also need good cooperation skills as the position involves contact and collaboration with clients, end customers, designers, landowners, subcontractors and colleagues. The work will involve security-sensitive information and therefore requires that you can handle work under high confidentiality.
Qualifications
At least one year's experience as a technician in electrical, fiber, datacom/transmission/AXE or mobile.
Category B driving license (Category BE is an advantage)
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Good PC skills
You must not be color blind or afraid of heights as pole work may occur.
Employment with us involves placement in a security classification that requires Swedish citizenship. Security vetting with criminal record check will be conducted before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
Desirable
Experience from transmission
Experience with Telia systems (SPAN/SPIV, able to read UTS, etc.)
Experience working with security protection requirements
Experience with IP-based services
Fiber Certification (CFT)
Mast certified, preferably with experience in radio link/antenna service
Experience in field work within telecom or similar
BE driving license
