I do not speak, but instead use various sounds and gestures, as well as an app on my iPod that I can write on with text-to-speech. I enjoy taking the bus, being outdoors, cycling, or taking walks. Doing puzzles, having books read to me, playing games, and using my iPad are things I enjoy. To have the prerequisites to manage the work tasks with the client, both care work and leisure activities, you need to have generally good physical health. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and interest in working with this target group. For work with children within LSS, an extract from the criminal record must be shown before employment. In spring 2026, a new law came into force that means that work in the home for elderly people or adults with disabilities is also covered by criminal record checks.
