We are looking for a respectful, calm, and attentive personal assistant with experience working closely with individuals with significant disabilities. The user is a 29-year-old man with extensive physical multiple disabilities. He communicates primarily non-verbally, which requires good listening skills and understanding of alternative communication methods. You will be an important support in his daily life – both at home and during activities outside the home, as you will assist him with both personal care and social activities. We are looking for someone who: - Is responsible and feels comfortable working independently - Has experience in personal assistance or similar work - Has knowledge of tube feeding, medication management, exercise, transfers, and support with all daily activities - Is attentive and has experience with non-verbal communication - Is fluent in Swedish (spoken and written) and it is desirable that you also speak Syriac Care and health education is meritorious but experience and personal qualities will weigh more heavily.
