The Team and Workplace Our backend platform is built around Go microservices and AMQP for asynchronous messaging. We operate in a cloud-native environment using Docker, Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), supported by modern CI/CD pipelines. Our focus is on building scalable, maintainable and reliable services while continuously evolving our architecture and engineering practices. About You We are looking for a senior backend engineer who combines strong technical skills with a pragmatic mindset, curiosity and a genuine sense of ownership. You have: Several years of professional experience in backend development and production systems. Strong hands-on experience with at least one backend programming language. Go is highly relevant, but we are open to engineers with other strong backend backgrounds who can learn quickly. Experience designing and building scalable backend systems, ideally using microservices. A strong understanding of software architecture, scalability and system reliability. Experience with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and Git. Experience with CI/CD, for example GitHub Actions or similar tools. A strong quality mindset where testing, code reviews and maintainable code are a natural part of your work. An understanding of how to build systems that are reliable, observable and able to scale. The ability to take ownership of technical solutions and drive them forward. A collaborative mindset and an interest in sharing knowledge and continuously improving. Experience with AMQP, GCP and Go is particularly relevant, but we value strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to learn over having every technology already in your toolbox. Let's Connect!
