About the role In this role, you work as a consultant at the customer's site and are responsible for ensuring stable and efficient IT operations. You are part of a team that works with both day-to-day management and improvement of the IT environment. Work with operations and management of systems and platforms Be part of the customer's IT organization and collaborate with other teams Ensure high availability and performance in systems Contribute to development and improvement of the IT environment Responsibilities Your responsibilities include both operational management and improvement work. You work with troubleshooting, installation, and optimization of systems as well as contribute to long-term solutions. Administer and maintain servers and system environments Monitor operations, identify and resolve incidents Install, configure, and upgrade systems and applications Work with user and access administration Ensure backup, recovery, and security measures Document solutions and procedures Participate in projects and change management Your background To succeed in this role, you are a technically skilled and structured systems administrator with experience from operations in larger organizations. Experience with systems administration (Windows and/or Linux) Experience with server operations and infrastructure services Good knowledge of Active Directory or equivalent Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) Experience with ITSM tools and incident management Good skills in Swedish and English Meritorious It is meritorious if you have experience with modern technologies and automated environments. Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python) Experience with container technology Experience with security work in IT operations Experience from larger organizations or complex environments You as a person We are Thalamus, and that means that as an employee you become an important asset and the face to our customers.
