Make a difference. Every day. Do you want to make a positive impact on society and contribute to conducting more clinical research in Sweden? Are you stimulated by collaboration with colleagues and working in an environment where continuous development takes place? Then this might be the position for you! Clinical Studies Sweden - Forum South is a unique regional support function with a mission to support and promote clinical research in the Southern Healthcare Region. We provide support and services to researchers, research personnel, and life science companies conducting clinical studies in healthcare. In doing so, we work to make Sweden an attractive country for conducting clinical studies, which contribute to the development of new and innovative products and treatment methods, benefiting patients and society. Forum South also has the responsibility to serve as a regional node for the Southern Healthcare Region within the framework of the national collaboration Clinical Studies Sweden, supported by the Swedish Research Council. Our operations include some forty employees and are located at Skåne University Hospital in Lund. Please visit Forum South's website for more information about our Grants Office: https://kliniskastudier.se/forum-soder/forskningsstod-och-radgivning/grants-office 1 position(s). DUTIES As a project economist, you will be responsible for the financial dimension of the Grants Office work; from budget planning before application to basic financial monitoring and reporting in awarded EU projects. You are a key resource in the pre-grant phase: research groups without budget experience need qualified support to set up realistic, compliant budgets that hold up all the way to the final report. You have a good understanding of EU program financial rules and can translate them into practical guidance for clinical researchers. Your responsibilities include: • Constructing and reviewing project budgets for applications to various funders such as VR, Forte, EU, and foundations • Guiding research groups on national funders' cost rules and eligible costs • Providing knowledge regarding EU budget models and financial project conditions • Supporting the post-grant phase for awarded EU projects: budget structure in EU Funding & Tenders Portal, time reporting systems, and cost monitoring • Preparing and compiling documentation for financial project reporting prior to submission and serving as primary contact for financial review by third parties • Collaborating with finance managers at departments and divisions for correct cost allocation and internal invoicing • Monitoring changes in funders' financial regulations • Training research groups in basic budgeting principles for external funding. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Higher education or university degree in economics, accounting, public administration, or similar • At least three years of experience in financial work in the public sector or academic environment, or equivalent experience deemed comparable by the employer • Good understanding of project-based economics and external funding • Ability to communicate financial requirements and rules in an understandable way to non-economists • Very good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written • Good proficiency in Excel and accounting systems. It is a merit if you have: • Experience in financial administration of EU-funded projects (Horizon, EU4Health, or similar) • Good knowledge of the EU Grant Agreement and financial regulations (Financial Regulation) • Experience in budget and monitoring work at Region Skåne or similar public organization • Knowledge of Region Skåne's accounting systems and internal reporting model • Experience with the Swedish Research Council's or Forte's budget models and cost specification requirements. To thrive in this role, you need to be service-minded and motivated by providing qualified support to researchers and contributing to successful applications. The work requires a structured approach, good analytical skills, and an interest in interpreting and applying funders' regulations. Project budgets are a central part of the quality and feasibility of research applications. Therefore, it is important to be able to combine financial accuracy with a pedagogical approach that makes complex cost rules understandable and usable for researchers. The role involves many contact points and periodically high work pace, which requires good prioritization skills, independence, and the ability to handle multiple parallel processes simultaneously. We are looking for someone who shares the Grants Office conviction that qualified financial support is an important prerequisite for more clinical studies to be conducted. An active interest in continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team is therefore a natural part of the assignment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Work as a Tutor in Västra Frölunda!

Do you want to make a difference? Almost 20,000 students failed to complete compulsory school in Sweden during the 2024/2025 school year. There are schools where 7 out of 10 students do not meet the requirements for upper secondary education. At the non-profit Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen, you contribute your expertise and commitment to help more students achieve the eligibility requirements with confidence for the future. For the autumn term 2026, we are looking for tutors in Västra Frölunda who want to help lay the foundation for a good school year! We are looking for someone interested in a paid part-time job while also wanting to make a concrete social contribution. The position is an hourly employment in the afternoons/evenings and briefly involves being a tutor after school at one of our partner schools. With us, you work in a team of three tutors, all of whom are university students. You will receive training in, and work according to, our structured approach. Each tutoring group consists of 15 students, and together with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the work. As a tutor, you can either work as a regular tutor or as a substitute. As a regular tutor, you work 6 hours per week spread over two scheduled afternoons/evenings (opportunity for extra substitute shifts available). As a substitute, you work when regular tutors are on leave or sick. The work is performed after school in the school's premises. We are looking for someone who: - Is a university or college student - Has pedagogical ability and can communicate and build relationships with children and young people. - Is solution-oriented, takes initiative, and can work according to our structured approach and method. - Has broad fundamental subject knowledge and good study skills. - Shares Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen's values and vision of a society where all children grow up with the prerequisites to succeed in school and shape their own future. Since the job involves working with children, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. Providing an extract from the police's criminal record register to the employer is a statutory requirement to work with children and young people. The differences between schools, where you live, where you come from, and what your parents do increasingly determine how likely you are to succeed in school. Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen is a non-profit foundation that operates where it is needed most. Läxhjälpen is free for students, and the tutors' salaries are financed through support from the business community and public sector. Läxhjälpen is a concrete initiative that addresses one of Sweden's biggest problems today—increasing numbers of young people are not succeeding in school and risk being excluded from society. Carefully selected, paid university students help young people with their studies two evenings a week and are also positive role models and mentors. Since our founding in 2007, we have developed a structured approach and a clear goal—to improve grades and help students progress to upper secondary school. We currently operate in over 90 schools in Stockholm, Södertälje, Västerås, Norrköping, Göteborg, Landskrona, Umeå, Sundsvall, Uppsala, Gävle, and Malmö, among others.
