About the job Your work as a benefits officer is meaningful and multifaceted as you, in dialogue with the individual, guardians and representatives, work to find the best solution for each individual. As a benefits officer in the unit, you receive applications, conduct investigations and assessments, and make decisions about services. When decisions are approved, individual follow-ups are regularly conducted to monitor ongoing services. Your work is based on both the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL). In your work you will collaborate with colleagues in Täby Municipality and with external partners such as rehabilitation and health, health and medical care, psychiatry, schools and preschools, and service providers. The Disability Procurement Unit is part of the social care operations area in Täby Municipality. The unit is organized into four groups: reception group, children's group, SoL follow-up, and LSS follow-up. The unit currently has 16 benefits officers, two group leaders, one transport service officer, one housing coordinator, one family consultant, two administrators, and one unit manager. We are located in modern offices on Biblioteksgången in Täby center, close to Roslagsbanan and buses. The Disability Procurement Unit has implemented IBIC as a working method and continuously develops operations while actively working on implementing the new Social Services Act. We are looking for someone with: Social work degree At least two years of work experience in authority administration within social psychiatry, home care for people under 65, and/or LSS Good computer skills Merits: Experience with Pulsen Combine IBIC competence Driver's license As a person, you show great commitment and interest in the target group and have a structured and independent working style. You are responsible, analytical, flexible, and articulate well in speech and writing.
