Support Pedagogue for Källans Daily Activities

We are all different. We are all also equal and have the same right to meaningful occupation and to be stimulated, to develop, and to feel valued. Daily Activities Unit 1 is one of three units within the disability care service area, and we are now seeking you to contribute with knowledge and development within the unit. Källans Daily Activities is the unit's largest operation with 14 users and 9 staff members, including two support pedagogues. The operation is divided into two sections with two different focus areas: one section where users can participate in group activities with a creative orientation, and one section where users need a smaller setting with high staff density. The unit also consists of a total of six groups geographically distributed throughout Strängnäs municipality with approximately 40 users in total. What is common for the entire unit is solid commitment and a strong focus on the users and their needs. Based on this, we work in a structured way to develop operations and make adjustments taking into account each individual's circumstances. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a support pedagogue at Källans Daily Activities, you, together with your support pedagogue colleague, are responsible for the pedagogical work and development of the operation. You will work closely with users and your colleagues to support colleagues in their tasks regarding both knowledge of methods and approaches as well as the creation and follow-up of implementation plans. You shall ensure that our documentation is of good quality and in compliance with legislation. You will monitor the external environment, implement new knowledge and practices, and develop working methods and approaches. This is so that the user receives a safe and stimulating environment with meaningful occupation. Care work will also be part of your work. Collaborating with the individual, their representatives, family members, residential staff, and other people in the person's network is something you see as self-evident for succeeding in the best way in your upcoming assignment. The role also includes close collaboration with the unit manager and other support pedagogues within the daily activities and employment area. As a support pedagogue, you are also part of a network with all support pedagogues within the entire service area (daily activities and residential care) where the network's objective is to strengthen pedagogical competence and further develop evidence-based methods for the area. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking you who have: • 200 YH credits as a support pedagogue, alternatively 60 university credits with a focus on disability, social work, pedagogy, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. • at least one year of experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. • good knowledge of current legislation regarding documentation according to LSS and the Social Services Act. • good ability to communicate well in both spoken and written Swedish. • good computer skills. • Class B driver's license and good driving skills.
