Work Tasks As a group manager in financial assistance, you'll have a central role in leading and developing daily work together with employees. You are close to the operations and serve as a support in daily work, while also working strategically with the unit manager and colleagues on operational development. Your task is to create conditions for lawful, efficient, and high-quality authority execution. You lead, allocate, and prioritize work and provide support and guidance on complex cases and assessments. The role includes, among other things: leading, supporting, and developing employees in daily work quality assuring case handling and decisions within financial assistance making decisions according to delegation and making assessments in cases providing feedback and guidance to strengthen quality and consistency following up on operational goals and results driving change and development work developing collaboration with internal and external stakeholders staff and workplace environment responsibility according to delegation. Moving forward, an important part is to continue developing work based on the activity requirements reform together with employees, the unit manager, and the employment services department, and to create even better conditions for people who need support on the path to self-sufficiency. You are part of the unit's management group together with the unit manager and colleague group managers. Together, you work to develop operational quality, working methods, and results. About the Workplace The Social Services Department's main mission is to offer individually adapted support and services within elderly care, disability services, children and families, adults, and financial assistance. Since January 2025, financial assistance and adult services have been combined in a shared unit within the department for needs-based support. The unit consists of 19 employees and is led by a unit manager and two group managers who together are responsible for leading, supporting, and developing operations. The financial assistance group currently consists of ten social workers. The group's mission is to investigate, assess, and make decisions about financial assistance and support people toward self-sufficiency. The work includes authority execution and change work with focus on the individual's opportunities and resources. With us, you get to work close to both employees and management. Support Pedagogue for Children and Youth Residential Care (LSS)

Salem Rehab is an operation within the Stockholm County Healthcare Region with a mandate to provide primary care rehabilitation with a specialized assignment for neuro services in outpatient care.
