Your role as a support pedagogue is to provide support and guidance to residents using a pedagogical approach and to give residents the opportunity to live as independently as possible, with maximum self-determination. As a support pedagogue, you have expanded responsibility for the pedagogical aspects such as methods, implementation plans, action plans, and/or other descriptions that are important for the individual, as well as guiding staff members. The support you provide always stems from the client's needs and daily condition. The role includes developing routines and guidelines to create a clear concept for support and guidance so that users can achieve a more independent life. The support pedagogue is responsible for, for example, assessing the client's abilities and is involved in establishing the client's implementation plan, which forms the foundation for the work. The working method should be clearly outlined in each user's implementation plan so that goals and goal achievement can be followed. The role as a support pedagogue also includes monitoring methods, aids, and following the development of welfare technology for the target group, as well as working with LSS-related issues. Examples of work tasks: Support with meals, social activities, hygiene routines Responsibility for assessing client abilities Establishing implementation plans Personal care such as hygiene, toilet visits, assistance, social presence Participating in the local management group Guiding staff members Work hours at the residence include days, evenings, and weekends. About Landbotorp Landbotorp is an LSS group home for people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism or autism-like conditions belonging to category 1. The group home has 6 apartments and common areas and is located in Ladugårdsängen, approximately 3 km from the city center. Who are we looking for? We are looking for you with a big heart and a willingness to make a difference. We appreciate if you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed. Education or ongoing education to become a support pedagogue It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience working with LSS and have care experience. You must have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We prefer that you have good physical ability. Other Information Employment form: Permanent position with 6 months probation Scope: 100% Start date: According to agreement but can be filled immediately We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are held on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. As part of a potential employment, you must be able to provide a certificate from the criminal record register. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have EU/EES citizenship or a valid work permit.
