The Honor & Protection Unit offers, on behalf of social services, to investigate and assess protection needs and provide protection and care to individuals who need placement due to external threats. Our primary target group is young people aged 14-18 who are subjected to or at risk of honor-related violence and oppression. These young people are placed in our protected residential care facility. We also have the ability to offer protection to adults in our apartments throughout Skaraborg, where the reason for the protection need can vary, from honor-related issues to intimate partner violence, gang-related crime, or other types of crime.
