We are now seeking an engaged team member for our Studio program for grades 7-9. Your Responsibilities As a team member in Studio 7-9, you work to provide students with the support, structure, and adaptations needed for them to progress as far as possible in their learning and knowledge development. The Studio program is an important part of the school's work to create accessible learning environments and increased goal achievement. You work both preventively and supportively by meeting students individually, in small groups, and in close collaboration with teaching staff. Depending on your qualifications and credentials, the assignment may include teaching and support measures in mathematics, as well as work with students' learning and development in several different subjects. You contribute to identifying needs, planning interventions, monitoring student progress, and creating good conditions for learning. You are part of the team for grades 6-9 and work closely with educators, student support staff, special education specialist, counselor, career advisor, and school leadership. Together you work to create a safe, inclusive, and developmental school environment. We are Looking for Someone Who: Is a clear and confident leader. Qualifications We are primarily seeking you who are a special education teacher, preferably with a focus on mathematics. We also welcome applications from you who are: A teacher or educator with experience in teaching and working with young people in grades 7-9. Experience creating accessible learning environments and adapting instruction based on students' different conditions. Good ability to create structure, build relationships, and motivate students in their learning. Experience working with students in need of special support is meritorious. Special education teacher certification, teaching credentials, and/or qualification in mathematics are meritorious. It is meritorious if you have: Special education teacher training. Experience with studio programs or similar support activities. Experience working with students in need of special support. Experience collaborating in student support teams or interprofessional teams. Good knowledge of extra adaptations and special support. Great weight is placed on personal suitability, collaboration skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships.
