Position Description The Rehabilitation Unit in Kungälv is a workplace where occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants work closely with patients, staff, and colleagues. Our shared goal is to create the best conditions for an independent and meaningful life for those we meet. Within municipal primary care, we are responsible for rehabilitation in regular housing, care and residential facilities, within support services, at our short-term unit, and basic-level habilitation. The unit strives to continuously develop, improve, and drive projects in rehabilitation, welfare technology, and new ways of working. The unit is centrally located in City Hall with proximity to bus stops, bike paths, and parking. The office environment is bright and activity-based with close proximity to other colleagues in municipal primary care. Job Responsibilities Our colleague has chosen to retire, and we are now seeking her successor. Are you interested in working with stimulating, meaningful tasks that include assessment, treatment, testing and prescribing of assistive devices, delegation, and guidance and training of care staff? Would you like to be part of an engaged team and contribute to municipal development work? Then we have the right position for you. The work is varied, involves movement, and is independent, while simultaneously requiring close collaboration with other professional categories both internally and externally. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist with a genuine interest in this field of work and person-centered care. Experience in similar work is a merit but not a requirement. You should have good computer skills. A Class B driver's license is required. We appreciate candidates who are curious, solution-focused, and comfortable working both independently and in a team. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. A 6-month probationary period may be applicable. Selection and interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
