Nurse with Diabetes Specialization at Kry Älta VC
Would you like to work at the top of your expertise, every day? Then we'd like to talk to you! About Kry's Primary Care Center Älta Hi! My name is Jenny and I'm the assistant operations manager and district nurse here at the primary care center. I'm driven by creating a workplace where we don't just do the job but develop how the job is done. Here it's just as natural to ask for help as it is to contribute ideas. We are a team of about 30 people with 13,000 registered patients. We also have home healthcare with 80 enrolled patients and a child health center with 750 children. The primary care center is located in Älta and what sets us apart is a wonderful group of colleagues and an environment where you get the chance to develop and grow. Why Kry? We've changed how healthcare is delivered in Sweden for over ten years. Made it digital, accessible, and more equitable. But we're not done—and that's the point. At Kry, we believe the most courageous thing you can do in healthcare is to be kind. And that those who know healthcare should lead it. With us, you have the mandate to do it—take it, don't ask for it. What you actually do You are responsible for our diabetes patients at the primary care center, and your role also includes telephone advice and standard nursing duties at a primary care center. You meet patients with a wide range of conditions—at appointments, digitally, and in clinical assessments. The focus here is on independent assessments, clinical responsibility, and direct patient care, not sitting in long phone queues or getting stuck in administrative triage. You are a central part of care and work both independently and as part of a team where both are equally important. You make medical assessments, prioritize, and drive patient cases from start to finish. The Kry Model We minimize administration and free up time for what matters: the patient encounter. All professions work at the top of their expertise. High availability without wait times. More mandate, more variety, more influence. Read more about the Kry Model HERE Benefits and Professional Development - read more about our excellent benefits and how we actively invest in developing our employees HERE What we expect from you You are a licensed nurse with experience and/or training in diabetes. If you are a trained district nurse, we see that as a merit. You take responsibility and get things done. You thrive in change and see it as fun. You deliver high-quality care and put the patient first—not as a phrase but in practice every day. Diabetes in Primary Care—Advanced Course (7.5 credits) If you don't already have diabetes training but have experience working with diabetes in primary care, we offer you the opportunity for in-service training. The course is held through the Academic Primary Care Center, which requires that you have worked at least 20% with diabetes in primary care for one year before taking the course. Practical Information Start: during 2026, when it works for both of us. Scope: Full-time Working hours: daytime 8–17, remote work possible one day/week Are you ready? Please send your application as soon as possible; selection and interviews are ongoing. Contact Jenny ([email protected]) for more information.
