Jelgavas novada Sociālās aprūpes un rehabilitācijas centrs "Kalnciems" announces a competition for a vacant Social REHABILITATION SPECIALIST position Key duties of the position: participate in the development of the client's social rehabilitation plan according to identified needs; conduct an assessment of the client's social functioning abilities and needs; improve and develop the client's social skills; engage clients in educational, cultural, health-promoting, and sports activities; promote clients' social activity by helping them maintain an active lifestyle; document the social rehabilitation process. Requirements for candidates: education: first-level professional higher education and social rehabilitation specialist qualification; prior experience in social work is desirable; language skills: Latvian - advanced level; ability to make prompt and constructive decisions and show initiative; ability to work in a team; must be proficient in standard MS Office software, electronic correspondence, and internet environment.
