Jelgavas novada Sociālās aprūpes un rehabilitācijas centrs "Eleja" announces a competition for the following vacant position: Social Worker (employment contract for an indefinite period) Main job responsibilities: identification and definition of social problems; social case intervention, forecasting and resolution of social problems, implementation of preventive measures; identify and attract necessary resources in resolving social cases, respecting the specifics of social work in various practice areas; maintain and organize client files and make regular necessary entries in them; provide recommendations for improving social work, social rehabilitation and care. Requirements for candidates: second-level professional higher or academic education in social work or charitable social work; ability to apply regulatory acts; good skills in working with MS Office programs; ability to work in a team; ability to communicate with people; desired work experience in social work; desired Category B driver's license.
