In winter 2026, we are expanding with three additional section managers within the Kungsparken Unit. You work closely with your staff and guide them to ensure they can fulfill their duties and that high-quality care and support for our elderly is maintained. You will have a home care coordinator to assist with staffing and planning, as well as several other important support functions to provide you with the best conditions for your work. As a section manager, you are part of the unit's management group where you, together with other section managers, conduct development and improvement initiatives to create high quality and efficient operations based on our residents' needs. Qualifications We are looking for someone with: An academic degree of at least 180 credits, or other education combined with at least 8 years of management experience Experience working as a manager Good digital competence Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as well as good documentation skills We consider it meritorious if you have: Management or leadership training Work experience from elderly care Experience working in a politically governed organization Knowledge of public sector operations We are looking for someone who is confident and stable in your leadership. You lead, motivate, and delegate authority to achieve common goals. In the role of section manager, you should be able to coordinate groups, create engagement, and be a point of reference. You have self-awareness and see relationships in their proper perspective. Good collaboration skills are important, and you listen, communicate, and resolve any conflicts in a constructive manner. You are clear in your communication and have the ability to ensure that messages reach their intended audience and that expectations are clear, while you follow up to ensure effectiveness. You have the ability and drive to work until projects are completed or goals are achieved. Your persistence means that you remain motivated despite setbacks. With a good overview, you understand your role but act in the best interest of the entire operation in your actions and decisions. We place great importance on personal suitability.
