It consists of four care units with a total of 42 inpatient beds, as well as three training apartments in nearby buildings in Kristinehamn. Care Unit 80 is a forensic psychiatric inpatient unit with security class two. Here we care for patients who are placed in care according to the Forensic Psychiatry Care Act (LRV), as well as patients in need of care from the Prison Service. Care Unit 81 is a forensic psychiatric inpatient unit with security class three. The unit primarily focuses on rehabilitation and discharge of patients. Care Unit 82 is a forensic psychiatric inpatient unit with security class three. The unit primarily focuses on rehabilitation and discharge of patients with significant care needs. Care Unit 84 is a forensic psychiatric inpatient unit located at the psychiatric hospital in Karlstad Your responsibilities As a registered nurse, you have an important role in the team around each individual patient. The role alternates between observation and assessment to treatment-oriented work tasks. You are expected to lead and distribute daily nursing care work, identify and articulate the patient's needs in psychiatric nursing.
