Job Responsibilities
As a nurse at BUP outpatient care, you work with the child in focus, from start to finish. Your responsibilities include medical follow-ups for children and adolescents with varying psychiatric challenges, conversations, and counseling. You collaborate closely with different professional disciplines and external partners including schools, social services, and other healthcare providers. The clinic has a team consisting of social workers, nurses, doctors, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and psychologists.

About the Workplace
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Västmanland (BUP) is a specialist care clinic for children and adolescents under 18 years old with mental health issues and their families. Our goal is to offer care tailored to each child's specific needs. We work based on evidence and proven experience and are characterized by a health-promoting approach. Operations are conducted at outpatient clinics in Köping, Västerås, Sala, and Fagersta. Our regional shared resources are located in Västerås with 24-hour care, an eating disorder unit, and a child psychiatric emergency clinic.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a registered nurse, preferably with professional experience. It is a merit if you have previous experience working within BUP.
Our work is governed by documents that are often in Swedish, so you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
As a person, you are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. You collaborate and communicate well and clearly with other people. We see that you have a good ability to structure your work and remain calm in stressful situations. As a nurse, you have a leadership role, which is why it is important that you have a good ability to lead and motivate others.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
