The Department of Immunology, Genetics and Pathology at Uppsala University has a broad research profile with strong research groups focused on cancer, genetic and autoimmune diseases, among others. One of the core principles at the department is to stimulate translational research and thereby promote closer collaboration between medical research and healthcare. Job description As a PhD student at the newly established Department of Legal Science, you will have an important active role in building the research environment. PhD students actively participate in national and international research activities. The employee is expected to have high presence at the workplace. Doctoral education in Legal Science comprises 240 higher education credits, corresponding to four years of full-time study. The education concludes with the PhD student defending their doctoral dissertation at a public disputation. The person employed as a PhD student shall dedicate themselves to their own doctoral education.
