Erikshjälpen is a children's rights organization with a nonprofit secondhand operation. Together, we share a common vision: a changed world where children's dreams come to life. We work to combat poverty and vulnerability by promoting children's rights in 16 countries. In Sweden, children's rights work takes place primarily through Erikshjälpen Framtidsverkstad, in close collaboration with our secondhand stores. In total, we operate about 50 Erikshjälpen Second Hand stores in Sweden and Norway. One of Erikshjälpen Second Hand's missions is to generate as much surplus as possible for the children's rights organization Erikshjälpen. 1 position(s). Description Our operations are characterized by diversity of people. Erikshjälpen's social objectives are your primary responsibility. In our stores, we provide internships and work training for approximately 8,000 interns/year. We want, and need your help, to equip and empower people toward self-sufficiency and financial independence. Our stores also have a large number of volunteers for whom you have a special assignment: to promote well-being and recruit new volunteers. As a Labor Market Coordinator, you work strategically to support store managers on social sustainability issues in daily operations. In your role, you contribute to helping more people find a meaningful path to employment and to strengthening Erikshjälpen as a social actor in the labor market. In employment matters, you collaborate with other colleagues in the HR department. In the social mission, you are guided by the Sustainability Manager. Responsibilities Examples of work tasks: Together with the current Labor Market Coordinator (East and Central Regions), support store managers regarding labor market policy measures and projects (South and West Regions). Travel within the regions is part of the position. Maintain contacts with the Employment Service, Social Insurance Agency, and other authorities at both regional and local levels. Train and support store management in introduction concepts, mentoring, and impact measurement for individuals in labor market measures. Be part of developing our strategic work with the social mission. Work in close collaboration with the children's rights organization and with Erikshjälpen's Framtidsverkstad. Work strategically on developing methodology and support selected stores to retain and recruit volunteers. Manage and develop staffing issues in collaboration with the HR department. Have knowledge of employment-related matters with the HR department. Identify areas for improvement with the goal of developing Erikshjälpen to be an attractive employer. Qualifications: You: have a degree in social sciences, or alternatively experience as a manager or leader in the nonprofit sector. have at least 3 years of experience in, for example, the Social Insurance Agency, Employment Service, social services, or a nonprofit organization. have experience working with labor market policy measures is a requirement. share our values (https://erikshjalpen.se/om-erikshjalpen/var-vardegrund/).
