Department of Soil and Environment A 2-year postdoctoral position is being announced in the Soil and Environmental Physics research group at the Department of Soil and Environment at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Uppsala. We are seeking a researcher with an interest in the interactions between the ecological, biogeochemical, and physical processes that shape the carbon cycle's response to global changes and how these interactions can be implemented in models of soil and ecosystems. Depending on the selected candidate's background and interests, the research project can be directed toward statistical analysis of literature data, process-based modeling, or a combination of these. About the Academy for Police Work At the academy, the Police Program is conducted at the University of Borås. The Police Program is a commissioned education provided on behalf of the National Police Authority and leads to a university degree of 120 credits in police work. The academy also offers a bachelor's program in police work with a focus on criminal investigation. The academy also offers standalone courses in criminology. The Police Program is the University of Borås' largest commissioned education and is of major strategic importance for the university and for the collective national police education. The academy is organized into two departments: the Department of Police Education and the Department of Police Work. Education is conducted on the university's campus and in police education's state-of-the-art training environments at Sagagatan and Guttasjön.
