BRiC brings together more than 60 researchers and aims to strengthen scientific and professional knowledge within crime prevention work through research in close collaboration with professionals in social services and the justice system. The full-time position involves conducting an independent and innovative research project within the program's three central areas: child vulnerability, drug markets and emerging technologies. The research is conducted in collaboration with actors in social services, police, prosecution, courts and the Swedish Prison and Probation Service. As an Assistant Professor, you are expected to: develop an independent research profile within the program's area, publish scientific work in collaboration with senior researchers within BRiC, contribute to the department's and research program's academic environment. The position initially comprises 50 percent research time. A higher proportion of research time may become relevant depending on the department's needs and available resources. The position also includes developing pedagogical competence, collaboration skills and experience in research communication.
