I have a ventilator that helps me breathe properly, and I use it most of the day. Now it's time to recruit new staff. I'm looking for a woman who can ideally communicate in Thai. Job Responsibilities Since I cannot use my own muscle strength, I need help with all daily tasks. I use a wheelchair. I cannot chew and swallow, so I receive food through a feeding tube directly to my stomach (PEG). I communicate via writing on a tablet and through eye contact. You will assist me at home, on shorter or longer walks, and with errands such as doctor's appointments. She has significant mobility difficulties and therefore needs several assistive devices such as ceiling lifts, standing aids, specially adapted chairs, and various communication aids. As an assistant, you will receive thorough on-the-job training to learn how to use these devices. As an assistant, you will support her in the activities she enjoys doing, both at home and outside the home. You will also accompany her on outings and visits to, for example, rehabilitation centers, orthotic centers, and assistive device centers. It is important that you are a positive, reliable, calm person who is solution-focused and driven. It is important that you have a driver's license and a car, as this is needed to get to where the client lives and because the client has an adapted car (automatic) that is used to drive her to medical appointments and recreational activities.
