Our Operations Department 85B1 is part of the neurology operations area and works with acute stroke care for adult patients. With us, advanced acute care is combined with close patient care, teamwork, and continuous development. The department has 14 care beds distributed across two care teams. In addition, we work with the acute stroke flow with our "Save the Brain" team where a nurse and a nursing assistant take care of patients who come in with suspected stroke directly through the emergency department. As a nurse with us, you will work closely with patients in the acute phase, with monitoring, treatment, and care that can make a significant difference for the patient's recovery and future. We work in interprofessional teams together with nursing assistants, physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, and administrative staff. Collaboration between different professional groups is an important part of our work and something many appreciate about us. We also place great emphasis on work environment and development. Your Assignment As a nurse at stroke unit 85B1, you work with acute stroke care and patient care for adult patients. Your Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with a bachelor's degree. It is meritorious if you have experience in stroke care or acute care, but we also welcome you who are new to the profession and want to develop your skills in neurology and acute care. Are you a nurse interested in working with cardiac care? We are a clinic with a strong sense of community, where good communication and professional care are a given. After 7 weeks of individual orientation, we offer stimulating and qualified work within cardiac care. Regular internal training is included, and there are opportunities for subsidized university courses. Unit 63 has 24 care beds divided into 3 care teams. The unit cares for patients with various cardiac diseases, such as acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, angina, and cardiac arrhythmias. All beds on the cardiac unit have access to continuous cardiac monitoring. Job Responsibilities The tasks consist of basic and specialized nursing care on an acute care unit with 24-hour emergency admissions. Work is carried out in teams consisting of physicians, nurses, and nursing assistants. The nurse is responsible for, among other things, assessment of pre-hospital ECGs from ambulances, readiness to manage acute myocardial infarctions for balloon angioplasty/coronary artery intervention, advanced treatment of acute and chronic heart failure, and cardiac arrhythmias.
