Patients come to us from medical wards, acute care services and as "step down" from our intensive care unit. We work closely with patients in a team, with nurses and nursing assistants in collaboration with physically present physicians and physiotherapists. As a nurse, you will work with this team to be responsible for the care of 2-3 patients. Currently we care for patients with medical conditions, but the goal is also to be able to receive patients with surgical and orthopedic conditions as the unit grows and in combination with training.
