The work is based on a systemic approach, where contact and work with the child's/young person's family and network are considered essential. Your tasks may vary but are based on the commissioner's requirements and the young person's needs. The main task is to work closely with the child/young person to help them achieve their goals together. Work occurs during days, evenings, and weekends. Examples of job tasks: - Help promote motivation for school, work, and leisure activities, and provide emotional support during setbacks. - Provide support in skills training aimed at developing skills in thought and behavior patterns in combination with other treatment interventions. - Work to strengthen the relationship between the child/young person and their family, including through support during visits, planned transitions home from placements, etc. - Help strengthen connection to society, for example through support for an expanded social network and access to positive social environments. Your Profile We are seeking someone trained as a treatment pedagogue/social pedagogue or with other education that the employer deems relevant. You have strong commitment to young people and as a person you are structured, responsible, solution-oriented, and flexible. The last two qualities are of great importance since we tailor the content of the intervention to each individual's needs. You are well familiar with young people's life conditions and environments. You have the ability to build alliances, willingness to collaborate, and create safe professional relationships. At the same time, you have the ability to stand firm and handle conflicts in a solution-focused manner, and to accommodate young people's various emotional states. We consider it advantageous if you have experience with: - Collaboration and coordination. - Knowledge of norm-breaking behavior and its effects. - Work with children and young people and their risk behaviors. - Several years of experience working with children and young people. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Upon a potential job offer, a criminal record clearance is required. About the Department We are here for people.
