WORK RESPONSIBILITIES Are you a committed special education teacher who wants to work closely with both students and colleagues to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment? Do you want to be a driving force in a student welfare team where collaboration, development, and student focus are always central? Your work responsibilities include: • Participate in a development group and drive the school's development in collaboration with lead teachers • Promote the application of inclusive pedagogy and strategies throughout the school, and mentor both teachers and teaching assistants in this • Actively work to make teaching materials and assistive digital learning tools accessible • Follow current research in special education and apply the insights in your work • Work with systematic student welfare efforts, coordinate student welfare matters, compile referral materials, and collaborate with student welfare actors. This includes collaboration with external actors, such as BUP, speech therapists, SPSM, and rehabilitation services • Take responsibility for systematic compilation of student attendance and risk and protective factors • Conduct pedagogical assessments, evaluations, and establish intervention programs following decisions from the principal • Coordinate transitions and receive information about new students, and ensure that relevant information is passed on to those affected Our Offer As a special education teacher at Asmundtorp School, you will have a central role in a dedicated student welfare team where we together create an inclusive and developmental learning environment for all students. QUALIFICATIONS As a special education teacher, it is important that you are organized and clear in your approach, and can keep multiple parallel tasks in focus without losing quality. You have a coaching work style and a good ability to build trusting relationships with students, teachers, teaching assistants, and external actors. You enjoy collaborating with others and see the strength in good teamwork, while you are passionate about every student succeeding, regardless of level or individual challenges. You follow current research in special education and use your insights to develop instruction and support measures in the organization. We place great importance on personal suitability.
