The department has only single rooms and isolation rooms with an airlock system. Currently, we share the department with the pulmonary outpatient clinic during their renovation, hence the double occupancy rooms. Each year, we receive approximately 6,800 patients. We work with person-centered care, which means the patient is in focus and more involved in their treatment. We currently have 14 patient beds divided between two care teams with nurses, nursing assistants, physicians, a dietitian, and an occupational therapist. The ward has only single rooms and isolation rooms with an airlock system.
