About the Operation The Operation, Anesthesia, and ICU Clinic in Mora consists of two operating departments: Central Operating with five operating rooms and Day Surgery Operating with two operating rooms. At Central Operating, both elective and acute surgeries are performed within the specialties of surgery, orthopedics, and urology. The operation also includes certain endoscopic procedures. Additionally, a sterilization unit is responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and handling medical-technical instruments. Work Tasks As a nursing assistant on the operating team, you are an important part of perioperative care and work in close collaboration with the operating room nurse and anesthesia nurse. You contribute to planning and organizing work around surgical procedures and are responsible, together with the operating room nurse, for ensuring that hygiene and aseptic guidelines are followed. Through systematic work methods, you work to prevent infection transmission and ensure a safe and patient-secure care environment.
