Our department currently has over 200 employees. We lay the foundation for lifelong learning by offering secure care and stimulating learning environments. Lekebergsskolan 7–9 is a lower secondary school in central Fjugesta with approximately 330 students. We work to create a safe, inclusive, and developmental learning environment where all students are given the opportunity to succeed. We believe in the importance of good relationships, clarity, and high expectations. At the school, there is close collaboration between teachers, student support services, and school leadership, and we continuously work to develop instruction through collegial learning and systematic quality improvement. We are looking for you to work as a teacher at Lekebergsskolan 7–9. This is a full-time substitute position (100%) where instruction will primarily be in English. We are open to different subject combinations and your second teaching subject may therefore vary depending on your qualifications and experience. As a teacher with us, you will become part of a team where you work together for students' knowledge development, safety, and well-being. We value collaboration and see it as self-evident that we help each other and take shared responsibility for our students. Job Duties The position involves planning, implementing, and following up on instruction in English and an additional subject based on your qualifications. You actively work to create instruction that is clear, structured, and accessible for students with different needs and conditions. Mentorship is part of the position. Together with other mentors and colleagues, you work to create a safe and functional school day for students and maintain ongoing contact with guardians. You are also expected to contribute to the school's joint development work and be an active part of both the team and the school's collegial work. Qualifications We are primarily looking for you as a certified teacher with qualifications to teach English in grades 7–9. Qualifications in an additional subject are meriting and we are open to different subject combinations. We are looking for you who: has clear classroom leadership and the ability to create structure and study atmosphere builds good and trusting relationships with students has high expectations for students and believes in their ability to develop is flexible and solution-focused enjoys collaborating and contributing to the school's joint work. We would like to see that you have experience teaching at the lower secondary level, but we also welcome you who are at the beginning of your teaching career.
