Visby Hospital has a broad healthcare mission and provides Gotland with acute and planned specialist care. In this role, you are responsible for keeping the production line running and ensuring that the flow proceeds as it should. You work in a team and support each other in daily operations. You also monitor the process, perform inspections, and ensure that quality remains at a consistent level. This role suits you if you like order and structure, are comfortable in a practical work environment, and enjoy work where things are constantly happening. Initially, you will work day shifts, but you should also be able to work a 2-shift schedule. As an apprentice at Ovako, you will have an apprenticeship supervisor who ensures you are brought into the work. Together with your supervisor and work management, you will have scheduled follow-ups to ensure you receive the training and competence you need during the 10-month apprenticeship period. During the Industrial Apprenticeship period, you will be employed on a fixed-term basis by the company, and after this there may be an opportunity for a permanent position. The number of apprenticeships is linked to the retirements we have in the coming years. The Industrial Apprenticeship positions may be available throughout our entire manufacturing process or within maintenance. For apprentices in operator positions and mechanic roles, we require basic school education, while upper secondary education is a merit. For apprentices in electrical technician roles, we require 3 years of upper secondary education, preferably in electrical technology. We see that you are at least 18 years old.
